Once again, local producers thrive on an international platform – this time on the legendary Rakim’s highly anticipated new album. The Seventh Seal has an array of guest features and beatmakers on the release, including Soundsmith Productions behind the track “Documentary Of A Gangsta”. Rakim says of the production line-up “you’ll see names you know and names you don’t recognize yet but will after this drops” – acknowledging that he chose only the best in their field.
As part of our re-emerging Hypebeast TV series, we took the opportunity to feature the well-known musical and fashion duo, The Clipse. With their “Til the Casket Drops” album just weeks away, we speak with Pusha-T and Malice over a series of topics ranging from the creation of this latest album, the group’s involvement with KAWS on their album art and their direction behind Play Cloths.
