Friday night at Community 54, A$AP Rocky came to Toronto to meet some 200 die hard fans that had waited out in the cold for hours for a chance to meet That Pretty Muthafucka. Dressed in silver Adidas, a Raphthimons Murderah crewneck, a Bape toque and, naturally, camouflage boxers, Rocky sat on a table at the back of the store and requested that they “turn some Trill shit on cause it’s time to party!” as supporters began to trickle in.

A$AP Rocky showed extreme love to his fans as he signed everything from posters and clothes to $5 bills and Robitussin bottles. He was funny and apologetic, excusing himself for his bad handwriting and taking the time to ask each person that came through for their name. Always on the lookout for new swag, Rocky offered a fan money in exchange for his gold bracelet and jokingly told another to give him his jacket after it caught his eye. Every girl that came through was instantly enamored by Rocky’s charm and a few even clammed with shyness when they received hugs.

After over an hour of meeting and signing, A$AP Rocky took to the street to take pictures and meet the fans who didn’t get a chance to receive a poster. After the commotion was over, Rocky went back inside, stood on the table and gave a heartfelt thank-you to everyone that organized the event and everyone that took the time to come out and meet him.

This post made me smile. It’s nice to hear that such a talented artist is as humble as you hope them to be. Dope.

These are some great shots of ASAP. I wasn’t able to see him from that close, but he rocked T.Dot. He’s definitely one of the great new talents that are rising within the Rap game.
