I had the pleasure to lead a DJ workshop last week at WelcomeToronto x RaptorsYouth Basketball Tournament. In between ball games, the young players would attend workshops hosted by The Remix Project on photography and DJing.

With a 30-minute intermission, I quickly taught the groups what DJing is, Serato, choosing a song, how to beat count, and finally, how to drop on the 1. Sounds like a lot right? But these ballers were quick learners. It’s always a good time when you can share a new skill set with a group of kids. They were so thrilled! Here are some photos taken by Remix alumni, Jeremiah Jekir.
