Its nice to finally see a collaboration between these two. Kirko Bangz and Chris Brown deliver a smooth track about none other than strippers. Its definitely nice to hear Chris take a break from the rapping aspect and give us some of that good singing we love him from him. I can’t say I didn’t see this coming sometime in the future. Teyana Taylor has officially signed to KanYe West’s G.O.O.D. music label with distribution by Def Jam. Teyana is no stranger to the label as she was on Ye’s MBDTF album as well as the Hit-Boy produced hit Christmas Song “Christmas In Harlem”. Details surrounding Teyana’s single and album will be coming in the next weeks and months, but until then she recently released a mixtape “The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor” which you can check out. Teyana is definitely talented and I can’t wait to see what she does with her talent on the label. Congrats Teyana!

Filmmaker Ruth Hogben collaborates with award-winning musician Kanye West to create a film for his single Lost in the World. The song, which features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, is taken from West’s fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Hogben’s piece breaks the mould of popular rap aesthetics while still celebrating the extraordinary talent that has made West a modern icon.

Yesterday, Hot 97 announced the lineup for this years summer jam during a live stream and might I just say this is some list. Nicki Minaj is this years headliner and will be joined by: Tyga, Mavado, Young Jeezy, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Wale, J.Cole, Rick Ross, Dj Khaled and Friends, Meek Mill, Waka Flocka, and French Montana. Summer Jam will take place on June 3 at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. Its seems as though YMCMB has been running Summer Jam for the past three years as the headliners for the two previous years were Drake and Lil Wayne. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
