Mixtape: KJ – A Breath Of Fresh Heir

A lot of music gets sent to me and one common mistake that artists make is that they’d send me a whole mixtape and no sample tracks/myspace link. KJ didn’t do that though :]. Before I downloaded his amazing mixtape, I took a listen to his songs on his myspace and they were appealing to the ear. Meet KJ, a Toronto breed on the come up….on his T.Dot.Oh.Shit, oww. He varied his originals versus his dubs and his sound is very soothing. I still haven’t picked my favorite song yet but I’m still listening to it as we speak. Can I get more music like this please? :) thanks. Nice artwork by the way, shouts to WolF. Brand brand brand.

I Bought New Sneakers Today

I went to LiveStock’s LIVESALE today with my big brother. He bought some Air Max kicks and I got Air Force 1s. Obviously they HAD to be Purple. I gotta buy some all black or all white shoes sometime at this point, lol. I just did a little bootleg photoshoot to showcase the addition to my collection (that rhymes). Shouts to Alex cause he always talks to me about shoes, lol.

Fully Wholly: Air Yeezy Collection

I was looking at my Twitter timeline & Bryan tweeted this link. I love his work and it is simply amazing. I didn’t know what Fully Wholly was so I just got put on. Check out everything below. And I quote…

To celebrate the release of the 3rd Air Yeezy at LiveStock Toronto tomorrow, I put some work in to create 3 Air Yeezy Wholly’s. This is actually the SECOND collection of Wholly’s I completed while in LA. Stay tuned for the release of the 1st and 3rd collections.

What’s a Wholly?

A “Wholly” is a stylized character who is composed of a base or shell that generally has 4 holes in it. Those 4 holes provide me with endless possibilities to solving graphic problems. I use the base or shell as a canvas to create the character, and the holes to act as ports to extensions of the character.

For the Yeezy Wholly’s I used the shutter shade texture inside the bear ears, and used the feet to display each shoe.

Air Yeezy: Tuesday

Kanye’s Air Yeezy are dropping again this Saturday at LiveStock. This time it will be the Khaki/Tan/Baby Pink ones. I was walking to work today & happened to see people lining up already. I recognized one of the dudes from last month’s line up. I found out today that he drove from Buffalo to get them at a cheaper rate. Yay for currency exchange! Check out these pictures; I will take more tomorrow as the line increases. Oh and, while I was I work, I prepared a little gift for LiveStock. Check it below, lol.

Air Yeezy Thursday

Kanye West’s Air Yeezy shoes are dropping tomorrow. This is the 2nd release with brand new colours. People started lining up as early as Wednesday! I took these pictures yesterday and I was supposed to post them too, but I got caught up in the madness of the Celtics vs the Bullshit. Don’t worry Chicago fans, Boston is going to win Game 7 tomorrow. Anyways, back to the shoes. Yesterday it was raining in Toronto so some people had left the line to shelter and others waited inside the store. I got some video footage that I will post some time… Check out the pictures. I’m about to head to LiveStock right now to take more pictures.
