A true hustle never stops. Not for a second.
Last Wednesday, my school held a Gala & Award show. I’m a bit upset that I got there pretty much at the end of the ceremony because I was stuck in never-ending traffic :[. I won 3 awards: 2 trophies for MVP in basketball & Honor Roll/Best Class Average in Grade 11 and a certificate for my co-op program. I didn't get my moment of shine on stage but it's all good. I'll be sure to be on time next year...that's if I am nominated again, lol :D. Enjoy the flicks!
My school’s graduation was last week and all my Grade 12 friends spent their last moments in my school’s auditorium. I was the soundGRL/techGRL for the night and I had to make sure everything was running smoothly. I took lots of pictures and it made me excited for my graduation next year! Take a look.

So while I’m not out hustling, I go to a place called highschool. This semester I only have two classes: English & Marketing. So in English class, we are reading the book “The Iliad”. My teacher gave us a little work to do; we had to write our own sonnet but it’s not as easy as it sounds! It had to be written by using those old English expressions and stuff.. All thats Shakespeare-like talk. We also had to pick a scene out of the book & base it off that. So this is what I came up with. Don’t laugh! I procrastinated on doing this and kind of rushed it. I think it’s cool but ehhh. Thy, shall, thy, caca, poo poo.

..Okay maybe not but yesterday I took my last exam. It was supposed to be on Wednesday but there was a snow storm & it was reported to Thursday. 10 more highschool credit ’til I’m done!! I can’t wait for my co-op next semester; I’m doing it at Chris Smith Management, where I currently intern ;].
Anyways, as crazy as my homegirl Hanna is, she came to school with her hair looking a bit Tina Turner-ish. I just HAD to take bare pics & she didn’t mind lol. Peep it.
So after 2 weeks of vacation, I’m back in school. I must say, it is hard to wake up at 5:45 every morning. I wish I could just fall back asleep & sleep in. Ughhh, 1 more year and a half of highschool! Yaaaay! I’ll be sure to enjoy these last 18 months of highschool life. Here are some pics that I took yesterday & today. Yesterday, a group of kids from grade 2-6 came to my school for a visit. The main purpose of the trip was to “spend a day in a high school”. They came from an all French elementary school in Oakville and were all excited to be there! I along with other students in my school were chosen to be guides and to help out the kids. I was the designated photographer and graphic designer. They made me design a 3 panel pamphlet to hand out to the kids at the end of the day. It contained most of the pics that I took the day of. We prepared different activities such as sports, dancing, drama, arts, computers, and scientific experiences. I love kids and it was dope to spend a day with them. They were all oh so cute and full of energy. Here are some pics from yesterday… don’t mind the ones of my playing dead at the beginning.
